​Come join Phyllis Reeves Feb. 27-Mar.1, 2025  in the beautiful Outer Banks, North Carolina for  a weekend of quilting, fun, and friends. Cyclone is a fun block to make using just the Tucker Trimmer III from Studio 180 Design.  Combine strip piecing and angled cuts to make this block and you will be surprised at how easy it comes together.  If you want to add a little "pop" of color to your project, use the Corner Pop and "pop" those corners.  You can choose to make a wall hanging, table runner, or lap size quilt.  Blocks can be made in a variety of sizes depending on the final project you wish to make. 

Basic instructions are given as to what type of fabric to buy and how much. Pre-cutting is required. This retreat is for all levels of quilters.
The retreat includes 2  1/2  days of sewing,   step-by-step instructions, assistance by Phyllis Reeves and a free lecture on Wednesday night on organizing and using scraps.   Phyllis has been teaching for 25 plus years, hosting retreats for over 20 years,  and will make the class informative as well as loads of fun.  Join her as she takes you thru each step of the pattern.   There will also be free time for sewing on Cyclone blocks or personal projects.

 All rulers and technique sheets can be purchased at the class for a 15% discount.  A supply list will be provided when the registration fee is paid.

Trails or Links quilt.  Lemoyne Trails is a modern twist to Lemoyne Stars and the Snail's Trails blocks.  During the class, students will learn the steps to make a Lemoyne Star with 2 different background fabrics and a Snail's Trail bock with multiple colors.  Class requirements include the following rulers: Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star, Tucker Trimmer I or III depending on block size, and the Large Squared Square or the small Squared Square depending on block size.  this quilt can be made in 3 different sizes from a crib to twin.
A class discount of 15% will be offered on rulers and patterns.  A supply list will be provided when the registration fee is paid.

 Links is a spectacular quilt that can be made in twin or queen size.  The star blocks are made using the Lemoyne Star ruler and the setting pieces are flying geese and shaded four patch units.  Class requirements include the Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star ruler, Tucker Trimmer III, and the Wing Clipper.
