Phyllis is an avid quilter with more ideas than she has time. She teaches at shops and guilds. Phyllis keeps her classes informative, relaxed, and most importantly, fun! Her specialty is using the Studio 180 rulers and Scrap and String piecing.
Phyllis' informal Sew and Chats, as well as her sold-out retreats, have helped to form the vibrant quilting community in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.

Phyllis is a wonderfully talented and gifted instructor. She has the ability to break a project down and easily explain it to all skill levels. Her enthusiasm for her projects is infectious and her ability to choose fabrics to enhance the design help to make the student want to complete the projects from her class.

I was attending one of Phyllis' quilting retreats, and I ran out of the fabric I needed to complete my quilt. Phyllis helped me find the discontinued fabric, and I am on way to a beautiful quilt.
